At a fee free initial meeting, we take time to listen to you and make sure we understand what you want. Gathering information on your current situation allows us to offer some outline suggestions before delivering an Initial Financial Planning Report. This captures where you are, where you want to be and discusses the strategy required to get you there.
WHAT YOU HAVE
We will investigate any existing policies that you might have. With details of, for example, your pensions, life cover policies, ISAs etc. we can advise whether they remain competitive and appropriate to your Financial Plan. This can also involve examining your current company pension and comparing the default investment selection to other options within it.
YOUR FINANCIAL JOURNEY
To get to where you need to go, we need to ensure that you are well equipped to get there. So when structuring your pensions and investments so that they will provide enough in the future, we are also sensitive to your current and ongoing tax positions. Bishop Armstrong also considers what could go wrong. So an analysis of life and health cover requirements along with other financial safety nets forms part of our recommendations. Your Financial Plan will be bespoke and customised specifically for you.
Whilst Bishop Armstrong offers a Transactional Service, we prefer to remain close to our clients and review their situation at least annually. This Review would give a detailed breakdown of your investments and pensions and discuss how they have performed over the last year. You will get a projection of how much money you should have in the future and what, if any, action needs to be taken. It allows us to be updated on your current situation, your current thinking and to ensure your Financial Plan dovetails accordingly.
DEALING WITH SPECIALISTS
Your Financial Plan would cover areas like Wills, Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Tax. Bishop Armstrong works closely with solicitors, accountants and other professionals to provide the solutions that you need.
We are an independent fee based practice. We make no charge for an initial meeting and agree with you how and when we are paid. The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate will writing, taxation and trust advice and school fees planning. The value of your investment can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount invested.
Our Pension and Investment portfolios have each been tailored to meet different objectives…We enjoy the review meetings because we get to understand the detail behind the performance
